Summer is winding down and we are in the process of gearing up for a new school year filled with more opportunities to make the world a better place.
We've just met with the great folks at Christine Ann Domestic Abuse Services, Inc. We told them our ideas and they shared what they have seen work in other areas. We are excited to have found some experienced folks to lend their support and assistance to our efforts.
The one main thing that changes human behavior is education. With knowledge comes understanding. Watch for little tidbits here and there that will remind everyone that respect is vital, help is here, and we all deserve healthy relationships.
In the meantime.... enjoy the rest of your summer!
Write to Recover is a project developed to raise cash and journals for victims of teen dating violence. Journal donations are given to local women's shelters and advocacy groups who help teens recover from dating violence.

We'd like to thank the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers for allowing us to hold our journal drive at the game today. All Girl Scouts in attendance had a fantastic time!
We collected 55 journals and $75 . . . we will be able to add 105 journals to our tally as a result of today's game.
Also, thanks Liz for arranging for Samantha to appear on the jumbo-tron while announcing the Brewers ticket winner. One thing off her bucket list!
Final thanks to the weather gods for providing a perfect weather day for us!
